The Hawker Hunter comes equipped with the most comprehensive safety features.
Our jet actually has fully operational ejection seats (Martin Baker 4HA) and safety equipment, that includes flotation harness (Mae West) and a personal survival pack which has a single life raft and survival supplies.
You will be outfitted in a flying suit, helmet with oxygen mask and gloves. Oxygen will be used throughout the flight.
You will be assisted by our trained staff to strap in correctly to the ejection seats

Hunter 528

A typical flight would include a full safety briefing. Because of certain weight and height limitations on the operational ejection seats we will have to be selective. Most military jet fighters were not built for people over 6ft tall and weighing in excess of 200lbs.
The take off is exhilarating and very fast, followed by a steep climb and turn over the sea. We then head North past Noosa Heads to Double Island Point, at the end of Teerwah beach.

The aircraft is air conditioned and surprisingly quiet in the cockpit. Because you are sitting next to the Pilot you can communicate easily and watch any actions.
You will be allowed to fly the aircraft and experience the wonderful, light and sensitive controls, and the limitless freedom of flight. Aerobatic manoeuvers can be attempted and to roll the aircraft all you have to do is put the stick to the left or right.
This aircraft can sustain G forces up to seven times your own weight but most aerobatics can be accomplished with a maximum of 4G. If G loading is not to your liking more gentle actions can be planned.
We can then carry out a military style attack on a target followed by a vertical pull up. Some low level flying over the sea, land and beaches and speeds up to 1150 kilometers per hour. This is probably the most enjoyable part but because of the extremely high fuel consumption is limited in time.
We then return for a landing using the brake parachute to help slow us down.

MAN FILES SUIT AGAINST ON-LINE IMPERSONATOR
29 March 1996
By Computergram

Singapore businessman David Tan Yeow Hee has filed a defamation suit against Chan Tuck Ying in Singapore's first Internet lawsuit. Chan is alleged to have used Tan's Internet identity to make lewd statements in the social discussion newsgroup soc.culture.singapore. He is said to have used a technique known as 'forging' which means writing messages to a news group, exchanging his name for someone else's. Tan is seeking a public apology, damages and an injunction to prevent Chan from doing it again. So far, Chan has not apologized. The saga began last November when Tan Yeow Hee logged on to the news group to discover that someone had been using his identity to send messages that implied that the sender was a sexual deviant. "I felt that I had been violated," complained Tan. "I even had friends who were not on the Net but who had heard of these messages."

Is this true or only hearsay?

From: Bo Zheng HuTo: Singapore Review18 June 2004www.thevoiddeck.orgGuess Who Gets Top Floor @ Pinnacle Duxton? As someone who is going to get married and buy a HDB flat (since Icannot anything else) I was recently informed of this "fact" ofSingapore's public housing. In my 29 years of existence, thislittle "fact" is a big shocker to me in today's Singapore; well, Iwas informed by my oldie birdie friends in my neighborhood kopitiamthat all the Choice flats and Choice units in a HDB housing estate isprioritized first and foremost for this group of people known asGrassroots Leaders -- aka or also commonly known as the people who dothe dirty work for PAP MPs in each constituency -- remember how theNee Soon grassroot buggas cocked up in the last GE over the lor zhuincident and almost cost the Minsta of State his seat until SM had togo to a temple and negotiate like a true blue gangsta? Yep, thosepeople indeed. Anyway, back to my story: I gaped and said "WTF???"My guess is that there has to be some truth to this little fact sinceit was confirmed by at least another 3 or 4 people. When askedwhether this kind of policy is logical, they shrugged their shouldersin the very Singaporean style and said "like that lor?". To pre-emptany Minsta from justifying by saying that these people contributetons to the constituency and break their Sundays arranging thewalkabouts for PAP MPs, my answer is "SO WHAT?" To be a grassrootsleader, you are VOLUNTEERING right? So why should this act ofvolunteering be sweetened by these little "perks"? It's like donatingfor NKF so that you can win the first prize condominium. Where isequality and a free market for PUBLIC housing? If these people are soimportant why doesn't HDB build one block right in the middle of ToaPayoh Central and house them there? While you're at it, paint theblock white with a red lightning logo across the building. These canbe the first 10-room HDB flats to reward these minions of the party. If such a policy does indeed exist, it has to be removed. Simple asthat. For all the lucky ones getting Pinnacle @ Duxton, maybe youshould go find out who your top-floor neighbours are.Bo Zheng Hu18.06.04www.thevoiddeck.org

pinnacle@duxton high-end HDB

The most expensive Pinnacle@Duxton flat at $645,800 requires a debt-servicing ratio (DSR) of 29 per cent for a household with monthly income of $8,000, which is within the affordability benchmark of 30 per cent and provided your income rise exponentially thereafter.
Choosing the wrong property – in a high value market don’t target the low-end, in a property market with an oversupply of private property focus on the public sector, where there is no resale market, don’t buy but rent. Consider only where there is demand and buy property accordingly. So on that note(dbs high), I leave you to ponder about your next purchase. If however, it has already happened, then let us move on.
Wonder what happen to Mas Selamat?

STUFFING the inside of a spare tyre with cigarettes might seem a novel smuggling method but the plan fell flat.
Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers found 400 packs of contraband cigarettes in the tyre.
On Thursday, Suhaimi Yusoff was fined $66,300 for evading about $3,000 in duty and Goods and Services Tax. He also pleaded guilty to possessing two packs of cigarettes at his Woodlands Drive flat and was fined another $4,600.
As he was unable to pay the fine, he would have to serve five months in jail.
The irony is that Suhaimi, 39, is a senior police staff-sergeant.
His lawyer Abdul Rohim Sarip told a district court that Suhaimi, 36, had served the force for 16 years and stands to lose his job and some $55,000 from his police investment scheme, with his conviction.
The court heard that the spare tyre had been modified to conceal the cigarettes, which Suhaimi, together with his neighbours - siblings Sheik Sufian Sheik Zainal Abidin, 16 and Siti Melati, 23 - had planned to sell to others at a profit.
They bought the cigarettes in Johor and stuffed the contraband in the spare tyre, which they hid in the boot of Suhaimi's car.
On their return to Singapore on Feb 17, the Hyundai Sante Fe was thoroughly checked and the cigarettes were found.
The next day, customs officers raided Suhaimi's house and found two more packs of contraband cigarettes.
Suhaimi shook his shaven head slowly and appeared rather deflated as sentence was passed.
Customs will be applying for his car to be confiscated.
Ms Siti Melati was dealt with two weeks ago and paid a $42,000 fine for evading taxes on the smuggled cigarettes.
Her brother is awaiting a probation report.
